Many thanks to Christine for conducting my sister Jayne’s cremation service last week — it was an amazing, emotional and fitting send-off. Christine put so much hard work in beforehand getting in contact with the various family members across the generations in order to collect anecdotes, memories and impressions that would create a complete celebration of my sister. As well as Christine leading the service, time was also given to Jayne’s children and grandchildren being able to deliver tributes, and Christine came to speak to us all individually afterwards. I think that my sister would’ve been incredibly happy with this service and the care and professionalism that went into it.
Amazing Lady! Christine came to my rescue when I needed it most, she was able to give me clarity and advice that was extreamly helpful.. Christine went beyond her time to make sure everything was perfect guiding me to put together the most wonderful apt words for my dearest freind and god father . If noone knew him well then after the service they truly did. Her frankness with kindness helps you sort things out clearly and precise with ease. I acheaved more that I ever thought I could. Christine was diligent in her pursuit of finding the best way to represent my aunt. She did so with great care and honesty, conducting the service with tenderness and empathy for all in the room. Christine delivered a heartfelt service at my Dads funeral, she captured his ethos and his eulogy was read with a lovely caring nature as though she had met my dad. My brother and I want to thank Christine for all of her support in the planning and hosting of our Mum’s funeral. Christine took the time to really get to know Mum and the family and her attention to detail was impeccable. On a personal level, Christine is a genuinely kind and warm individual and before, during and after the service her concern for our welfare has been clear.
Christine was supportive, kind and thoughtful throughout the process. There wasn’t much time to prepare, but she made sure to spend as much time with us as possible, getting to know my Dad and what he meant to us. And getting to know us, too. She was also very efficient in supplying text to read and edit, which gave us added confidence in advance of the service. On the day, Christine was a calm, caring presence and helped make it as good as we could have hoped.
Christine spent many hours with us to understand my mum her life and our life with her. She made the service about her ,who she was, what she had achieved in her life her passions, interests her loves. Christine also helped me to understand her and see her in a different light. I wanted the service to be personal , a showcase of my mum and Christine helped me to chose the most appropriate poems , A cup of tea anyone ?!
Christine is the most dedicated and caring person and nothing is too much trouble . It felt as though she had known us for years.

Christine delivered a lovely heartfelt tribute to my Mother in Law at her cremation ceremony. She took plenty of time with us to understand about her life and really listened to our stories. She shared all drafts with us and made great suggestions regarding content. We would definitely recommend.
Christine was the celebrant at my mother in law’s funeral. The sun shone through the windows and when Christine spoke with such tenderness and empathy the room was filled with a calmness and warmth. Christine spent alot of time and effort to make today very special she made a real effort to get so much information and the memories of Ray as if she wanted to know who he was every thing was perfect from start to finish. The funeral went extremely well. Christine was very knowledgeable on Hinduism and explained everything to me. Even with the limited time to arrange everything, it was all done perfectly with both professionalism and kindness. The service on the day was lovely and gave my Husband/Saskia’s Dad the send off he deserved. Christine went over and above what she needed to do which we will be forever thankful for. Christine has led two services for loved ones close to my heart. She met with us as families and really understood our vision for their services. We didn’t want anything overly religious and she didn’t even mind our choice of not such a typical funeral song! Lovely words and accommodated speeches etc from loved ones.
Would just like to say a big thank you to Christine, for all her tireless efforts with regard to my mother’s funeral.. Christine spent three and half hours with me a week before the funeral making sure every last detail was given proper consideration. The music, hymns, and prayers were each considered at length until we found the perfect order of service. She took notes as I talked about my mother’s life. But it wasn’t just for the service as she was genuinely interested in who she was as a person. The most human of touches if you will.. She even spoke with my mum’s childhood friend to rediscover the tales of yesteryear which had long since been forgotten..
I had full confidence in this wonderful celebrant after our initial meeting and this faith was well placed come the day of the funeral..
Mum’s funeral was just how she would have wanted it.. Religious, tasteful and yet modern at the same time. We were all moved to tears by Christine’s words as we celebrated her life which was so very special..
Christine even spent time talking to all of us after the ceremony which we all appreciated..
She turned the saddest of days into a moment in time that will always be remembered..

My son passed away on the 15th April following a motorcycle accident. The whole family were in various states of disbelief. Christine with her sensitivity and kindness managed to enable us to create a wonderful picture of Tom and his life. The funeral went perfectly.

Christine was the celebrant at my dad’s funeral in February. From the first meeting with Christine she seemed to know just what my dad wanted . She listened to everything my family and I had to say about my dad. The day went perfectly and she delivered the service with such compassion and humour everything my dad would of liked. We very sadly lost our dear aunt earlier this year.
She and her late husband were both Spiritualists and the funeral director kindly introduced us to Christine.
Christine was lovely from the moment we met her. She was very friendly, lively but empathic, and her caring manner made it easy to talk to her about our aunt. She spent a long time with us, wanting to get to know and find out about Marie’s’ life, her family, hobbies, her work and her main love, her animals.
Christine looked at photographs, took lots of notes and it was obviously important to her to have all the details correct. We really appreciated the time, and care, and interest she took in us and Marie.
We then planned the order of service…she helped us with the music, the order of hymns and the all-important ‘running time’ so that anything extra we though we would like to have in the service, could be incorporated.
After her visit, Christine wrote the service, the welcome, reflection, farewell blessing and closing words and sent it to us to read and approve before the funeral.
On the day of the funeral, Christine was ready, smart, welcoming, and performed a gentle, intimate, empathic service, which was beautiful and greatly appreciated by all who attended.

In december my nan passed away and Christine spent so much time with myself, my dad and 2 of my nan’s closest friends getting to know her and it really showed because her service was written beautifully and we couldn’t have asked for anything better!
2 months later in febuary my Grandad passed away and without hesitation we contacted Christine, again she spent so much time getting to know him with us as a family, she even remembered stuff about Grandad that we had mentioned when talking to her about Nan’s!
Her dedication and passion for her job really shows with the love and care she puts into it.
She helped us as a family get through 2 very tough times in a such close period of time, and i honestly could not recommend her enough!
Thank you for putting so much time, love and care into both my Nan and Grandads services and making thier final journey one for us to all remember with happy times.
Christine really did make such a sad day with lots of tears a beautiful one with lots of smiles too!

Having to arrange a funeral service from the other end of the country by phone and email wasn’t easy, but Christine was so kind and helpful. She was so easy to talk to and understood what I was wanting to have in the service, suggesting beautiful words and accepting without change what my family and I had written about my aunt, knowing that we had worked a long time to get them right. Finally meeting her at the service , she was as kind and lovely as I expected, and we all felt that she had included each and every one of us. Thank you Christine, you made it better.

I went to my friend’s funeral in Chichester and found Christine to be a very caring, lovely lady who delivered a beautiful touching service, we were the last to leave, Christine stayed right to the end making sure everyone was okay. I can certainly recommend her, and know if I ever need any of her Celebrant Services I wouldn’t hesitate to contact her.

I cannot thank you enough for how you conducted my mums funeral.
It was so hard for myself and family as Living in Australia and having Covid couldn’t get over until mums funeral had already been arranged.
You spent time with dad and my brother making sure they had things done the way they wanted, finding the perfect music and the poems about cup of tea and bowling, just so my mum x
You made everyone feel welcome and kept a close eye on my dad at all times, even bringing a smile to faces with some beautiful memories.
A funeral of a loved one is always hard, but even harder being so far away. You did an amazing service and would not have changed a thing, felt like you’d known the family for years.
As a family, dad, my brother myself and mums grandkids, just want to say thank you once again, you are a beautiful soul .

Christine spent loads of time with me and the family talking about the wife, her life and our life together. She provided an eloquent life story to Celebrate my wife’s life. Christine has provided 2 beautiful services for our family; the first was for my Mother in Law, Mary, and the second for my late husband, Gerry. The family were impressed by Christine’s warmth at Mary’s funeral. We wanted a non-religious funeral for my late husband, who sadly took his own life. Christine provided us with a more than fitting tribute, which included our adult children in person and the words of far away friends who had sent their own memories. She spent time with us all and had already met Gerry. She also helped us to choose poetry and music. The excellent choice of out Celebrant made the occasion very special. Hi Christine just wanted to say thank you so much for the way you looked after us at my sister Valerie’s funeral even in these unprecedented times you were thoughtful of the different people trying to say goodbye to Valerie you didn’t worry when we wanted the service changed numerous times and even took the time to ring me in spain to make sure I was happy, you made sure my brother in law John had what he wanted and Valerie’s daughter Naomi and grandchildren were happy so once again thank you so very much for making the funeral special

Chripstine was lovely she was professional and very caring she spent time with us talking about my Dad at that very difficult time. Christine also went above and beyond as I l live in Kent so obviously not local she sent me texts and phone calls to let me know my Mum was ok when she had seen her which was a great comfort.

Christine was recommended by our funeral service directors and proved to be an inspired choice. She was compassionate, caring and patient, quickly understanding the deep grief being felt from the loss of my beloved wife Merle.
Christine spent two hours with me collecting my detailed memories of Merle’s life.She also gathered input from our three daughters and Merle’s sister. Christine was happy for us to call her as many times as we needed to ensure the the tribute to Merle was exactly as we wanted. Nothing was too much trouble.
The narrative that Christine created from this significant volume of input was testimony to her skills. She
touchingly captured Merle’s essential personal qualities and the milestones in her life, as well as demonstrating how much Merle was loved by so many family members and friends. The order of service was created with great care.
Christine’s delivery at the service itself was made with warmth and feeling. The large congregation of around a hundred all felt the service to Merle was a lovely and fitting tribute to a much loved beautiful lady.

Thank you so much for the lovely funeral service you conducted today for my brother. You have such a lovely voice and gentle nature and you helped us so much through the service. When we arrived in East Wittering, there were over ten residents in the lounge and it was nice to share the day with them. They asked me to read out your eulogy which they thought was a wonderful tribute to Charlie and they were able to find out so much about him.

Christine was highly recommended to me by the funeral director when I said that I wanted a non religious service for my late father, not having any previous experience of arranging a funeral myself. A meeting was arranged and I spent over two hours with Christine, my mother and my partner discussing all aspects of my father’s life. We felt able to talk freely and Christine asked appropriate questions in order to give resemblance of some structure, together with suggestions for poems and advice on music choices. We felt that we had not merely engaged Christine, but that she had adopted us as a family in order to provide something for us that was a true representation of my father. I was perfectly happy with the draft that she came back to me with, and was impressed not only with the attention to detail, but the extra research that she undertook in order to give it that special personal touch that did my father proud. I was delighted with Christine’s speech and precise way in which it was carefully delivered in order for every detail to be appreciated. I would have no hesitation in recommending Christine to anyone needing the services of a celebrant.

A lovely celebrant who provided a wonderful service for my late Nan.
Christine visited myself and my sister and sat and listened intently, gathering information whilst my sister and I recalled memories of our Nan and the life we knew her to live. From this Christine produced a beautiful order of service with meaningful words, poems and the memories we had previously recalled.
I can’t thank Christine enough for giving my Nan a beautiful and dignified final farewell and also for taking a lot of stress off of the funeral itself.
I would highly recommend Christine and the service she offers.
